How is this different from a normal PDF to HTML converter?

A normal converter gives you one static copy of the page. This gives you a template: the values that change from one document to the next become Handlebars variables, with sample data taken from your PDF, so you can render new copies from JSON.

Will the result look exactly like my PDF?

Close, not pixel-identical. The AI rebuilds the layout in HTML and CSS, so fonts it cannot see are replaced with similar ones and complex graphics are simplified. Adjust anything with a follow-up prompt or in the code.

Is my PDF stored?

No. It is sent to the model for this conversion and not kept. The template only stays if you save it to a workspace.
